Israeli recorder player Tamar Lalo is a member of the period ensemble La Ritirata,and she also appears with other chamber groups and orchestras in performances of Renaissance and Baroque music.
Lalo began lessons on the recorder at age seven, and studied at the Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts, winning a scholarship from the American-Israel Cultural Foundation. She studied with Drora Bruck and Michael Meltzer at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and earned her bachelor's degree in 2006. She went on to study with Peter van Heyghen and Daniël Brüggen at the Royal Conservatory of Music in The Hague, and in 2012 she completed her master's degree at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya in Barcelona, working with Pedro Memelsdorff. While she has toured internationally, Lalo has chiefly performed in the Netherlands, Spain, and Israel, and she has participated in the Utrecht Early Music Festival, the Kol Hamusica Festival, the Abu Gosh Vocal Festival, and the Yechiam Renaissance Festival. She has collaborated with Christina Pluhar and L'Arpeggiata, Música
Ficta, Ensemble Fontegara, and the Euskal Barrokensemble, in addition to her performances with La Ritirata.

Drora bruck Born in Haifa, 1966. Since 1983 performs on stage both in Israel and outside Israel as a soloist and in chamber ensembles. Performed over 80 world premieres of pieces composed especially for her.
She went on concert tours in England, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, USA, Canada, Australia, Romania and Japan. Has been recording for Kol Hamusica (Israel Broadcasting Authority classical music rdgio station) – regularly since 1989, and also recorded various early music CDs and Israeli music CDs.
Performed as a soloist with many orchestras. Served as art director of the renaissance festival in Yehiam and the international early music seminar in Tel Aviv. Sought after as a teacher of recorders, chamber music and stylistic interpretation, often teaches master classes in institutions all over the world, including :Canberra University (Australia), The Hobart Academy of Music (Tasmania), The University of Merlbourne (Australia), the University of Fabia (Italy), Mcgill University (Canada), The Montreol National Recorder Festival (Canada) New England Conservatory(USA), The Cluj Academy of Music (Romania) and the Aquilla Academy of Music (Italy.
Currently teaching recorded, chamber music and recorders teaching method in the Jerusalem Academy of Music, In the Washington Hill College and manages the Early Music Dept in the Israeli Conservatory of Music.
